"That sounds awful," Leo responded to Isla's statement.
The darkness was thoroughly thick now. He could barely make out the color of the Concord grapes.
"You can't even begin to imagine Leo. I regret ever meeting him."
"Did he ever apologize or try to make it up to you?"
"No. In fact, he is living his life like nothing happened."
"That's sad. I understand that people are prone to mistakes, but what makes a man better is the ability to see his mistakes and try to fix them."
She chuckled.

"What?"
"He sounds like a good guy, but deep down, he's just as wicked as they come."
