Chapter 22
“Cunt,” Lily muttered. She stood and made some clothes appear, then looked over at Jenny. “If they’re annoyed with me, wait until they get a load of you.”
Jenny cackled quietly in the back of Lily’s mind.

Upstairs in the flat, Dana moved slowly through the hallways, her eyes taking in every detail. The place was immaculate, kept clean by someone with an eye for detail. In the hallway, she stopped to look at a table with a vase on it. It was a dry arrangement of different grasses along with one plant she recognized, eucalyptus. The arrangement reminded her of fall weather, Thanksgiving, and the fact that she had no plans to go visit her parents for the holidays.
Things with her parents had been tense after last Christmas. Two years ago, she had taken Quetzalli with her to act as her older girlfriend, which her parents didn’t like. This last year, it had been Beth, in order to help her dodge some of the May-December romance issues that her mother and father
