Tasia let out a deep breath. “Yeah,” she muttered. “Feels like there’s a lot of that going around.”

Dana laughed, though she didn’t feel it. This earned a small grin from Tasia.

“You don’t have to fake it with me,” said Tasia. “I like you just the way you are.”

Enough of that, Jenny warned, and the temperature plummeted. Talk about something else.

“Gay?” Dana laughed. “Jenny loathes all mushy stuff equally. Someone left the Hallmark Channel on at home and she broke the TV over it. It’s definitely on her list of things she despises.”
