Chapter 15. Unexpected Encounters

When Jessie heard a familiar voice approaching them, she couldn't speak. Taylor's eyes were also wide with surprise as she looked at her. Jessie whispered, "Take cover."

Jessie closed the door and switched out the light as Taylor dashed to the nearest bathroom. She walked into the bathroom to hide with Taylor.

They'd carefully opened the door and peered out through it. Until Marco turned on the light, they couldn't see the darkness. Marco arrived home early, which was unusual.

Taylor murmured, "There's a lady with him."

"I can see that," Jessie observed as she continued to watch Marco enter the room. Din, on the other hand, was able to listen in on their chats because she had failed to stop the call she was on with him.

Marco's expression was befuddling. "What's the matter, babe?" He was accompanied by a lady who inquired.
