Chapter 96

Leon and Luke continued walking while Kallen was separated from them by Soren and some of his men.

As they walked, they found a large house that seemed very quiet.

Luke and Leon came to a halt, looking at the home that didn’t appear to be inhabited.

They eventually got together with Soren and several men.

“Shall we go inside?” Soren suggested it to Leon.

Leon blocked his hand on Soren’s body as a sign that they should not rush.

In the distance, Oliver was shaking as he watched them through the window. “B-boss.. t-they’re here.”

Larry approached seriously and pulled back the window curtain to look at them. He saw Leon’s face in the distance. “Is he suffering today since his beloved woman is no longer with him?”

Oliver gulped. He knew in his heart that Celine wasn’t dead; he just didn’t know where she had gone and why she didn’t seem to be back at the Bridgertons.
