Chapter 12

While eating her food Melisa feels like someone watches her from a distant table. To ensure she looks around. But as far as she can witness, all the people around her are unfamiliar. Not until she saw the man who sexually assaulted her that night after Ajdin's birthday party.

Melisa's heart beat so loudly. She felt afraid. But she kept calm and pretended she didn't see him. She casually continues eating her food but deep inside she's drowning in fear.

Because of fear, she asked for help from Ajdin. She sent a text message to him. Even though she knew Ajdin might not help her, she still tried.

Ajdin was signing the last document on his table that needed his signature when his phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled out his phone to see who was messaging. Melisa's name flashed on the screen. He frowned and murmured while opening her message.

"This is not okay. She's always replying late to my messages. She is so annoying!"
