Chapter 21. Making Me Feel Better

He took me to Cameron’s guest room, taking me in his arms like a baby. I laid on the bed with him lying beside me, holding me so closely, his breadth fanning the tendrils of the hair curled around my neck, sending shivers all over my body. He was so angry and mean to me, and that is why I got so emotional. I know he doesn’t know about the issues I had with my dad before I got married to him.
