She wanted to wear pants, to look more attractive to Sebastian, but she wouldn't feel very comfortable. So she ended up choosing a short, tight-fitting dress in a light yellow fabric, something that would make her attractive without seeming vulgar. Emma took a bath and applied a body oil that she had received from her mother, leaving her skin soft and smelling like strawberries. Since she couldn't use a hairdryer and risk waking her parents, she simply smoothed her hair with a straightening iron and added a few curls at the ends.
