Chapter 15

Emma's routine had returned to being boring. She hadn't seen Sebastian for two weeks, and whenever she tried to ask Pietro or Ramon, she got the same answer that Sebastian still didn't want to see her due to the bruises that seemed to be always present in him now.

"I don't care about a bloody hurt, I want to see him. I can even help you with that. Take me to him," she asked inside the car, almost desperate.

"I already said no, sucks," Ramon replied.

"Please, Ramon," Emma dared and touched the man's hand. "I know we're friends, help me see him."

Ramon watched the touch of their joined hands and sighed, looking up into Emma's eyes.

"Let me talk to the boss first," he asked. "But now go to class."

Emma wanted to protest, saying that she was going to skip class and that she would stay there with him until Sebastian finally agreed to see her, but she accepted Ramon's request and said goodbye as she got out of the car.
