I had been running in what feels like circles for the past few hours through the forest. I had given my wolf control, feeling the need to let go of all of this chaos ravaging my mind. I was irritated with myself for not noticing Adeline’s needs. She was slowly falling apart with the added pressure from the pack and I to produce an heir. My wolf roared inside when the confession slipped off from her lips, it was an Alpha’s nature to want an heir. I can’t deny that it didn’t infuriate me too. I’ve been dreaming of the day that she would carry my pups but I had no will to force it on her either. I wanted her to want it, I wanted to see the sparkle return in her eyes.
