Adeline POV

“Luna, Luna, Luna Adeline”, softly echoed into my ears as my eyes drifted open. I could feel a large hand gently nudging me and waking me up from my slumber. I rubbed my eyes with my fingertips, still groggy and merely half asleep. As I slowly regained my consciousness, I found myself staring into Bailey’s warm and familiar eyes. “Bails!”, I screech, wrapping my arms around her shoulders.

Suddenly, worry and panic set in and I pulled away. “Wait, what are you doing here? Where’s Jaxon and Sophia?”, I ask and cock my head to the side.
