Nathan's POV

I’ve put off the expansion. With everything going on, traveling right now just doesn’t feel ideal. Sure, it means some delays, but I can handle that. We’ll deal with expanding later.

“You anxious?” Mason asks, watching me from the passenger seat.

I shrug. “Not really. I’ve dealt with them before, but we all know how well they get along with Theo.”

Mason snorts. “Yeah, because he’s into bikes and chaos. They’ll understand. We’ve got Harper to think about. So, yeah, their investment is on hold until we can actually go and expand, but it’s not like they’re not already earning off it.”

He’s right. I just hate missing deadlines. I told them we’d begin construction by now. Having to delay it makes me feel like I’m breaking a promise, even if the reason is valid.
