I had to promise Liam that I would take him over to Patrick’s mother’s house by myself before he stopped crying.

He was so upset that Patrick deceived him and left the house without him. I understood why Patrick didn’t want to take him there, but he should have just been honest with him.

After Liam finally stopped crying, we stayed in the living room and cuddled while we watched television. As he held me, I couldn’t help but wonder…
