“I can’t believe you brought your little boyfriend to our child’s first birthday.” Patrick gritted his teeth in annoyance as he met me in the dining room. “I can’t believe you even brought him to my house.”

I let out a deep sigh. “Patrick, just calm down and stop overreacting. Focus on the other people at the party.” I replied, rolling my eyes at him. “You don’t always have to cause a scene when it comes to Damien.”
