Chapter 37. Not the Old Ellie

Nathan almost wanted to kill himself a while ago when he saw Allison crying that much. He knew what could possibly happen to him if Brent found out that Allison cried and it was his fault.

'What did I do? What was I thinking? Why did I help Ellie to meet Allison? Am I that seriously desperate to help that girl? Damn! I should have known from the beginning what might happen to Allison,' Nathan said in his mind.

Allison was quiet. He was clueless about what place Allison would like to go since the last word she said to him was to take her out of the place where she and Ellie met.

Nathan took her to a park with a large grass field, and they sat down on the grass under a tree. He thought that it would help Allison refresh her mind.

After a few minutes of Allison's silence, she spoke.

"All right, Nathan, leave me alone." Nathan felt happy because she had already spoken, but he didn't like the way she shooed him away.
