Chapter 41. Lost Years

Jacob was staring at the people standing in front of them; vibing with the song, singing along. They have been performing in the open field every night near the mall for a week. None of them has any idea why Brent decided to persuade them into doing it.

They are all tired and the truth is that they don’t want to do it anymore but they couldn’t say no to Brent, and everytime he’s asking them to come along and play, they’ll all say yes; reluctantly.

After performing some songs, Brent would usually drown himself with liquors. Neither Gabriel, Nathan, nor Jacob could stop him. All they did was to watch him get drunk without even shedding a tear after Allison left. He just busied himself; without getting any rest at all.

Brent would always go straight to Chester’s Billiard House and then from there, he would take the TTC to sidelines, singing on the streets, where they almost got beaten by some gangsters around the area.

Jacob could not help but shake his head in
