Allison's life turned like a whirlwind. Who would have even thought that a small drunken night would change her life like that?
After the talk with the Thompson cousins at the nearby cafe, she thought it was just a mere promise. Not as huge and not something she should take note of. Far from what she was thinking, days after, in her class, one of the Thompson came looking for her.
"Isn't that Jacob? What is he doing in our class?"
"Right! It's odd seeing him here."
With eyebrows creased, she lifted her eyes from the book she was busy reading. Before, she would not even take a glimpse of the Thompsons, but now that she had a huge connection with them, Allison could not help but pry.
She saw that some of her classmates were talking to Jacob and after some time, she was baffled when she saw some of them already eyeing her. It was as if she did something wrong, like a sin they could not forgive.
