Chapter 5. Truth or Lie
There were a lot of burdens in getting impregnated. That was what Allison had been experiencing for days and the biggest thing she had been worrying about was how would she tell the truth to her parents.
Saturday afternoon, everything was good and normal in the household, except that she was drowning in fear. If that continued, she knew she would be eaten by overthinking. That was the least that she wanted, especially now that she was carrying her child.
Her father and her stepmother were home together except for Diana, who was at school even on the weekend for her cheerleading practices.
Somehow, not having Diana around made her feel relief. After all, if she was planning to tell her parents what was happening to her, it should not reach her stepsister's ears. She had an agreement with the Thompsons and she consented not to tell anyone who was on the campus of her condition. Not when they were still unaware of who the father of the child was.
