Alexander looked at Maxwell with an unsmiling, questioning face.
“There is still one more office to be checked. And if there is a place you would have hidden my documents which you stole, it would be your office,” Maxwell said, his tone stressing on ‘you stole’.
Alexander observed him for a while.
“You know, I did not realize you are dumb as well. Because no sensible man will supposedly steal something like a document and drop it in his office which is the most likeable places to be searched.”
“I think you are jumping to hasty conclusions, Alex,” Maxwell maintained an annoying grin on his face. “And I will overlook your insult but I will advise you to keep it till we discover in the end, that you are not the dumb one who has actually hidden the documents, stolen documents in your office.”
