Alex sat down in the midst of the conversation and did not say a word even though they were discussing about his company.

“It is very obvious Maxwell had masterminded everything because he knew this was how it was going to end and that was he had wanted,” Bob said. He was sitting beside Ryder in the living room.

“And I suspect a foul play here. The court had definitely been bribed to favor Maxwell,” Dave put in.

Alexander had been released from custody but his company had been seized from him and given to Maxwell. Isabella sat on the arm’s chair, rubbing his shoulder gently. Maxwell had finally succeeded in taking his company from him.

Alexander was pained and angry at himself for falling for Bethany’s façade.
