Chapter 60. Abducted

Jane sat on the bed, crouched on one side. Hot tears rolled down her face as she thought of what had become of her within the twinkle of an eye. How it had happened, she did not know and had not seen it coming.

How had she not seen the red light? What had she gotten herself into? Her body was sore and she lifted every limb on her body gently so it would not hurt so much. Fredrick had tuned into an abuser overnight.

She realized that was what he had always been but she had allowed herself to be blinded to it. Yes, she had noticed how authoritative he was but she did not take much thought to it. She did not think he was a maniac and could ever lay his hands on her.

Now he had seized her phone and all her gadgets so she would not reach to anyone. He had locked her up in the house as well for several days. She was thankful that he did not let her starve. He made sure she ate three times a day at least.

Food was the least of her worries but she had to eat to stay
