Chapter 63. Little or No Hope
Jane watched him quietly while he walked around the room, waiting for her chance.
“You have been coiled up in that place for too long. Get up and have a bath,” he ordered gruffly. “The room is getting too stuffy.”
He raised his mouth to his nose as if he had just perceived a foul smell. He moved to towards her to the window by the bed side and flung the curtains aside.
Jane grabbed his leg with every strength left in her. And even though she was putting so much effort, the grip was very feeble.
“What the hell,” Fredrick exclaimed and looked down at her. He was shaken by the sudden move as he did not expect it.
“Please Fredrick, I feel very ill. Please take me to the hospital.” She said, holding on to him.
Fredrick scanned her with his eyes for a while.
“You don’t look sick to me,” he said.
“I really am,” she said in a low teary voice, her eyes pleading. “I don’t feel good at all, please.”
