Chapter 69. Strategic Stories

There were enough seats in the office to take more than ten persons in the room. One of the things Dave had noticed when he was there yesterday was how spacious and well-furnished James office was. He and Alexander sat on the two chairs across the table while Isabella sat on one of the long cushions.

“What you are telling me is her manager still does not have any idea what is going on?” James asked, looking at them.

“I placed a call to him on our way here,” It was Isabella who answered. “I told him about the message she had sent and he sounded so surprised and worried, though I did not tell him about our suspicions regarding Fredrick.”

“That is a wise thing as we are not sure about that yet,” James nodded and turned back to the men in front of him. “There is another possibility that we have not looked into yet,” he told them and they looked expectantly at him.
