Chapter 128. Resolutions

“Do you want me to drive you?” he offered and she shook her head.

“Nah, you go on your way, and I will find mine.”

“Okay.”

He walked out then returned almost immediately.

“I love you,” he said and left again. Jane found herself smiling as she muttered an I love you too even though he was gone.

Jane decided to freshen up before eating. She gingerly stood up from the bed, flinging the duvet off her bare body not minding the cold and she was carefree because she was alone now. She danced to the bathroom and washed off. The water warm and soothing on her skin and so refreshing.

While under the shower and the water falling on her like a heavy rain, she thought of last night and how Dave had subjected her body to pure pleasure. He had made her beg for more of him and it seemed she could not just have enough.

Maybe the attitude she had put off before then paid off after all. Dave had ignored all the green lights she had given him to touch
