Chapter 140. Uncertainty

Not long after she had wondered why Dave and Alex were not around yet, she decided to place a call to Dave and ask where he was. Just when she took out her phone to call him, he appeared before her. She had not notice or heard him approaching.

She lifted her head and looked at him. He was standing over her and he looked huge and masculine in the loose gray shirt he was wearing. He had freshened and changed up and he looked very cool and handsome.

Jane looked at him up and down and sucked in her lower lips. Dave smirked at her.

“Hey miss, eyes up here,” he said and looked at his face with a frown.

“Oh now you are trying to pretend you don’t know what I am talking about because I saw you checking me out?” he grinned and she hissed.

“What took you so long? You have been gone for hours now and where is Alex?” She looked around for Alex.
