Chapter 16. What Party?
Mrs. Sinclair had a feeling something was just not right about the party her husband was throwing off. And when she tried asking him about it, he had told her he was expecting very important visitors. She had observed him the past few days and his sly movements had raised her suspicion.
He would step out of the room to make and take calls in a very hush voice. He was up to something and whatever it was, she did not like how it made her feel. Whenever she felt that way, it never ended up well.
She felt like confronting him and pushing tills he reveals what he was planning but she knew better than to ask questions from Sinclair who would not only ignore her but get angry at her for trying to pry into his decisions.
She had tried going through his phone and documents to get at least a clue but he was sharp enough to keep any trace behind. She found none.
The only option she was left with was to wait for whatever it was unfold itself.
