Chapter 28. A Plan to Find the Autopsy

Max grinned at Alexander, having strategized earlier with Dylan about his training schedule. They patiently waited until Dylan left, giving them the privacy they needed to search the mansion. Alexander led the way since he still remembered the location of the library. He turned on the lights and closed the door to block out any unwanted disturbances. As they approached the library, Alexander took the right side while Max took the left. They frantically flipped through the pages of various books, but all they encountered were references to previous alphas. 

Max couldn’t hold back her disappointment. “I told you it was pointless. Now, Titus will know we were here.” 

Alexander reassured her, “No, he won’t. I will eliminate our scent, and we shouldn’t lose hope just yet. We haven’t explored the entire library.”
