Chapter 40. Aunt Patricia Visits
Dalett walked over to Selena’s door, shaking her head gradually while resting her hand on the window.
“Why not?”
“You are trying to avoid going home. Remember when you were involved in such behaviour during our childhood? Every time your driver arrived to pick you up, you’d create a scene, you would do anything from returning home. Go home, Selena. Do not run from it.”
Dalett smiled as she said these words. “I’ll see you at school tomorrow; ensure to give the principal’s letter to your mother. I am off.”
With that, she spun around and swiftly made her way towards the house.
“Traitor!” Selena exclaimed, burying her head in the steering wheel and forcefully pounding her hands on it. She then sped off for home.
