Asper’s POV

“I am sorry,” Miracle said while we were both lying down in my bed. “For not saying anything about Jyn. For hiding his true identity and not even stopping you from being close to him.”

I am holding her hand and to be honest, it is helping me to stay calm even though I know that my door is not locked. If she had not been here, I might have been panicking.

“It is okay,” I said. “But you were aware all about this right from the start?”

She nodded. “I have never told you this before but Rajiv and I were in a relationship when we were still in college. And since then, I know that he is friends with Jyn who is a leader of a mafia.”

“But that doesn’t change your love for him, right?” I said. “Because he was the one who told you about that part of his life.”

“I actually learned that when we first met each other,” she said. “The palace is keeping their eyes on them so I know their identity.”

“Yet, you still feel for him?” I asked. “Even t
