Man, that’s one long title for a chapter.

Kate’s POV
Rosa was still brimming with excitement.
Hilda pulled me closer, “Aren’t you going to ask her?”
“Ask her what?” Of course, I knew what she was referring to, but I just wanted to be sure. It was still an assumption though.
One can’t always work with assumptions, you know.
“Ask her what?” Hilda mimicked. “I’m talking about the issue the gossip girls were talking about.”
“Calm down you two,” Helen whispered to both of us. “The source of information is the gossip girls, and they could be just spinning a tale.”
“Which is exactly why we should ask her,” Hilda said to her and then turned to me. “You should go ask her if the source is genuine.”
“Me? Why not you?” I asked.
“Because you’re closer to her than both of us,” Hilda said.
