Hadley looked at Maurice eyes wide open and she wondered how she was going to lie her way through this.

"I..was..I mean..that was..," Hadley stuttered trying to find the plausible lie that she could find but she found none because was she going to say she stopped being allergic to strawberry overnight?

Maurice looked at Hadley who was having hard time processing her thought as she bit her lips hard and he smirked not understanding what was going wrong but he knew one thing for sure something was definitely going wrong.

"What did you mean? I am not allergic to strawberry," Hadley says, trying her luck because she knew Ella and Maurice were not close before their marriage so there was no way he would know about her allergy.
