Chris's POV

It three weeks ever since I stepped foot here and it has been awesome.

I woke up with a smile on my face, feeling a sense of contentment. It has been three weeks since I returned home, and everything has changed for the better.

My mom's health is improving, and her smile is back, brighter than ever. Our home, once filled with tension and worry, is now filled with laughter and love.

I get out of bed, feeling a sense of purpose. I help my mom with her physical therapy, and we spend our days watching movies, playing games, and just enjoying each other's company.

 I have even started cooking her favorite meals, and our kitchen is once again filled with the aroma of delicious food.

As I look around our cozy home, I feel grateful for this second chance. I thought I would lose everything after what Megan did to me, but it turns out I was just getting a fresh start.
