Chapter 69
A FEW MONTHS LATER
A plane landed on the ground, and after it stopped running, the door opened, and people walked out one after the other. Eric stood by his car, staring at the plane, eager to see her come down. His eyes didn’t leave the plane stairs, and he spotted her as she removed her glasses. She looked around, spotted Eric, waved at him, and rushed down. She ran to him and jumped on him.
“I have missed you,” she squealed happily.
“Don’t choke me,” Eric groaned, and she hugged him tighter.
“Tina,” he groaned again, and she laughed, then disengaged and kissed him, not minding if they were in public. She wouldn’t stop smiling.
“I guess you missed me so much,” Eric asked.
“Don’t you miss me?”
“I do, but it seems yours is higher and bigger than mine,” Eric said, and she laughed. He bent down to her level and kissed her.
“I miss you so much,” he said, and Tina blushed.
