Chapter 63. Thank You for Giving Me a Chance

Ellie’s POV

The day went way better than I expected; from the flowers to his voice everything was just perfect.

It made me think we never had any misunderstandings, but it is great to have him back.

We talked and laughed halfway through the night, and I enjoyed every minute of it; I heard a beep from my phone and decided to check it.

It turned out to be a text from Aria saying, “Babe, you still there? It’s late,” prompting me to check the time.

“Ohh my,” I gasped as I saw that, indeed, it was very late, almost midnight.

“What is it?” Ryan asked as he noticed.

“It’s very late, and I think I need to get home,” I replied. I was still left in awe after finding out that I had been here for hours and didn’t even notice.

“All right then,” he said and called for the waiter, who wasted no time in coming by.

“Where’s the bill,” he asked.
