James’ POV

“That is not happening, Dad,” I growled. I looked at my dad, looking shocked and, at the same time, surprised.

I wasn’t sure if he had thought it through before discussing it with me, but I would not allow such a thing to happen.

“For once, I need you to have faith in me. I will take care of everything, and we will win the case,” I said convincingly.
