As the day for the trial drew closer, I had to make sure I put everything in place and make all the final preparations to win the case.

After rejecting the settlement offer from James and his team, I knew what was at stake. I have to step up and do what I do best.

I was a lot more confident going through the trials than I was before the first hearing. Although I still feel a little nervous I had a good feeling about this one.

“Come in,” I said as a knock came on my door.

“Good day, ma’am; all the preparations have been made, and everyone is ready and waiting for the meeting to begin,” My secretary said.

“Okay, then I will be joining them in a few minutes,” I replied with a smile.

“All right, ma’am, see you in a bit,” she said before exiting my office.
