The door to my office suddenly swung open, pulling my attention away from my work as I looked up to see Sandra walking in.

Despite feeling irritated by her for barging in, I knew I had to remain calm.

“You should knock on the door next time before entering my office,” I said, turning back to my work.

“Oh, come on, Ryan! Don’t be so uptight,” Sandra replied, moving closer to me.

“This is not the time for jokes, Sandra. Next time, please knock and wait for a response before coming in,” I replied sternly.
