So, Dakota pointed to a familiar location on the map—a place I knew all too well. It was incredibly close to the Blood Moon pack. Wait… The Ruby Claw pack was close to the Blood Moon pack. But for all the time I lived there, I never noticed that another village was nearby. Maybe the guardian animal for the Ruby Claw pack was actually good at its job, unlike our squirrel, the lizard from the Aztec pack, or the monkey from the Mandrake pack.

Whatever guarded the Ruby Claw pack seemed to possess great magical energy.

Dakota cleared her throat and spoke out, “So the mission is to head over to the Ruby Claw pack village and ask them for the Eye. If we can seal it away at Claw Mountain, the Krent pack will never be able to get it.”

It was a good plan. I just hope the people assigned to it can execute it and hopefully don’t encounter the Krent pack in the village.

Dakota was then going to tell us who the participants were. “Since Kali an
