Chapter 163. Adonis to the Rescue

Charlotte’s POV

The battle between our party and the monster commenced. Eric led the charge as the beast tried to slay the person he swore to protect, Dakota.

“Here!” He punched it again, and it fell on its back. The monster was actually taken aback by Eric’s strength.

“Slime bind!” Eric shouted, and green mucus shot out from both his hands, tying the monster up.

Eric then went straight to Dakota to find out if she was okay. “Priestess, are you hurt?” he shouted in concern.

“I’m fine, Eric! You should keep your eyes on your opponent; we don’t know what that beast is capable of,” Dakota said as she undid her shield.

“No worries, my lady. No matter what strength the beast has, it won’t be able to escape my binds,” Eric rubbed his nose in confidence, only for the beast to stand up behind him.

The beast was still bound but had managed to stretch its limbs out of the mucus ropes and use them normally.
