Chapter 162. Strange Encounter

Charlotte’s POV

“I didn’t know when tears started to drop from my eyes. Hunter’s message made me so emotional. He was going through a lot, but he still had me in his mind. While I completely forgot about him during my time at the Mandrake village, I was such a bad friend.

“I’m missing you too! I want to see you again!” I cried. He lost his master and his village, and I needed to be there to comfort him. Yet, we were worlds apart. I didn’t even know when I’d get to see him again, if I’d ever see him again.

The voice at the end, however, since it wasn’t Hunter’s voice, I completely ignored whatever it was saying.

“Do you want to record anything for him to listen to?” the bird asked.

“Yes, yes, I do!” I stated and cleared my throat.
