Chapter 55. Charlotte vs. Rose

Charlotte’s POV

Iris chases after Rafael, Rose chases after Iris, and I’m chasing after Rose… What a weird situation this is.

Iris wasn’t even giving Rose the time of day while Rose kept hurling insults her way.

“This is the reason Rafael didn’t tell you about his plans! You don’t take the logical route; you just do whatever you want! It’s incredibly stupid, but yet you still do it! You literally have no hope of survival; just give up and return to the village where you belong! You can’t beat Rafael, you can’t save that human boy either! Are you even listening to me, Iris?! I’m telling you this for your own benefit! Stop it!”

Iris kept zooming, and Rose decided enough was enough. She fired out her rose bramble vines in hopes of ensnaring the lightning beta. But I wasn’t about to let that happen! I shot out some fireballs that canceled out her bramble attack, and she stopped dead in her tracks.

The angry redhead turned to me with fury in her eyes.
