Chapter 57. Chain of Lightning

Charlotte’s POV

The two attack each other one after the other. Hunter swings his sword, Rafael dodges. Rafael punches straight, Hunter dodges to the left.

The Aztec Alpha then flies up and shoots five small balls of energy at Hunter, who, in turn, uses his sword like a bat and hits them all back at Rafael, which explodes on his face. But the smoke clears, and he’s revealed to not have been injured by that.

They clash again, and Hunter throws some wolfsbane at him, but Rafael blocks it with a force field and pushes the human backward.

As Hunter is still dazed from the attack, Rafael kicks him by the side, which he had injured before, causing Hunter to scream in pain.

He doesn’t let up and uses a powered-up punch to hit him backward again. Thankfully, Hunter blocks this attack with his sword, lessening the damage.

Rafael looks at his right hand, which he used to punch, and sees it’s wounded and slightly stinging him. Hunter had put some wolfs
