A month had passed since Hunter departed, and I still hadn’t gotten over it. It was similar to back when I was an omega, waiting for Kiana to come back from hunting trips. But it never hit me this bad before.

I wanted to know if he was okay or not. Had he managed to get the rest of humanity to join the alliance? Would they stop hunting innocent werewolves and instead side with us to fight the evil Krent pack?

That’s all I could do: hope that all went well and that he didn’t just get himself killed by walking into the human capital and going, “I’m a hybrid, trust me!” Because that wasn’t a good strategy at all!
