I stepped outside, my hand running through my hair as I glanced around, wondering where I’ll start searching for Nathan.

We needed him to help carry Caleb inside. We couldn’t just leave him out there on his own.

But as I stood there under the cool breeze, the night air was just all over my face, as I let out a wide smile.
