Chapter 143. Tormented

Dahviel's POV

I turned away from coloring in my book and walked down the stairs. No one seemed to be in the house. "Where did everybody go?" I asked myself.

Then I saw Davina walking out of the kitchen.

"Davina, where's mum and dad?" I asked her.

She had a smile on her face and her hands were behind her back. 

"They went on a fun day," she said.

"And aunt Camila, aunt Anna? Luna, Lucas?" I asked her, looking around.

"All gone out, Davie," she said, calling me the sweet name I liked being called by her. "We're the only one here," she added, smiling and I felt discomfort by the way she smiled. It frightened me. I've never been frightened by my sister. Why was I now?

She walked closer to me. "Want to play, Davie?" She asked, her hands still behind her.

I walked backwards. "Uh, I guess I could,"

"Then let's play," she said, her voice bigger than before and her eyes were red. Big color red.

I shrieked in fear and fell to the
