Chapter 144. The Death of Natasha

Ava's POV

I paced the room in perplexity wondering what was going on with Dahviel. He wasn't like this and he sure doesn't tell lies about his sister.

Skye and I had returned back to our bedroom after making sure Dahviel was asleep.

Skye watched me pace around without a word and then finally unable to take it anymore, he broke the silence. "What is it, Ava? Are you still worried about what Dahviel said?" He asked me.

I nodded. "Dahviel cannot just come up with a story that his sister was holding a knife," I said to him.

"Does that really say anything?" He asked.

I stopped pacing. "Of course it does, Skye. Did you not see how terrified he was?"

He stared at the wall. "What point are you trying to make then?" He asked.

"Either something is wrong with Davina or Dahviel himself," I said.

He stood to his feet. "Natasha did send thugs to abduct them, remember? Dahviel might be suffering from the impact of the incident," he theorized.
