Chapter 146. Bitter Revelations
The next morning, I had Dahviel prepared to leave the pack house before everyone was up.
We walked down the stairs and with luck on my side, only a few pack members were awake.
Getting into the car and settling Dahviel in, I drove down to crescent woods.
By the time we arrived, everyone was up and going about their business. The statues and throne of Fernandez had been burnt to the ground and rendered to dust. His body according to uncle was left deep in the forest to rot.
"Ava, what happened? Why are you here so early?" Uncle asking, noticing me as he emerged from the study room.
"Uncle," I said going into his arms. He was becoming his self again.
We pulled apart and he ruffled Dahviel's hair. "Howdy, Dahviel." He said.
"How're you grandfather?" Dahviel asked slowly.
Then his eyes shone bright at a figure that strode into the room. "Lucas!" He yelled and rushed towards him.
