Chapter 80. Twists and Turns

I opened my eyes slowly as the sun rays filtered through the window and rested on my face. I had a dream last night about Ava. She was right here. I heard her voice. I heard her voice! It repeated in my head as I quickly got up to a sitting position, but she was not there.

I probably was wrong, but I felt her close to me last night. I felt her presence. So where was she? I looked around, but I couldn't see her anywhere around the room. I was about to leave the bed when Walter walked in. 

"No no, alpha. You need rest." He said coming close to me. 

I had a migraine and my head kept pounding but I declined. "I'm fine, Walter. Where's Robin?" I asked him. 

"He's downstairs, but you really need to rest, alpha. Your body needs it." He said but I still declined. 

"And David, how's he?" I asked.

"Thankfully, he would be out of the coma soon." He assured me and I breathed a sigh of relief and got off the bed.
