Chapter 79. Running to Him

Robin's POV


After Skye left the house since yesterday, he did not return to the pack house. When Anna told me he left for crescent wood, I believed everything was okay and he was going to return soon, but seeing he did not return, I sent a messenger to the crescents and I was told he left the previous night.

It was unlike Skye to stay out for a day or more without informing me. What was going on? Was everything okay? Even Camila was nowhere to be found since the cock crowed. Just then the entrance door to the pack house burst open and a disheveled Skye staggered in and fell to the floor.

"Skye," I called out and rushed towards where he was. He reeked of alcohol and he was burning up badly. He must have slept out in the cold. 

"Anna! Ria!" I called out loudly. "What did you do Skye?" I asked him and all he did was mumble incoherently. The only word I could pick out of what he said was, "Ava."

Shortly, Ria and Anna rushed down the stairs.
