Chapter 84. Forced to Return

He was ordering me. How dare he order me? Does he think I'm one of the blood moons that he can throw his alpha tone on? The big bag of oats! He even had the guts to accuse me of cheating with Andrew, that slime! I was angry. Angry and hurt. Was that how low he saw me? He didn't even know I wasn't having just one baby but two.

"You're pregnant?" Uncle asked, probing into my eyes. I looked away and slowly nodded. 

"And you didn't see it deem fit to tell me or your husband?" He questioned.

"I didn't see a need to tell him," I said, stubbornly.

"For crying out sake, Ava, what's going on with you? You have a child growing inside of you and belonging to a blood moon and you hide it from his father and me too?" He asked, sounding baffled.

I shrugged and looked away. I hid the truth from Skye because I knew he would do exactly what just happened now, and I did not tell uncle because he would remind me of the crescent tradition. I groaned inwardly.
